Holiday Homes Abroad
We cover holiday homes in Italy, France, Spain , Portugal and the UK
Many Irish residents who own overseas
properties encounter problems in obtaining suitable cover locally. Consequently
they are forced to select a policy offered by an overseas insurer which is
written in the local language, and which may be inappropriate for the needs of
holiday home owners.
As your overseas home is hundreds if not
thousands of kilometers away it is essential that it is adequately insured when
left unoccupied or used for holiday letting.
At Kidd Insurances we have tailored a home insurance policy specifically designed to cover your overseas holiday home be it located in The U.K., France, Spain, Portugal, or Italy.
The policy is in plain English, and provides wider cover than traditional foreign property insurance or community block covers.
Buildings and Contents are covered for Loss or Damage caused by:
- Fire, Lightning, Explosion or Earthquake
- Aircraft
- Storm, Flood, or Weight of Snow
- Escape of Oil from domestic fixed fuel oil tanks, apparatus or pipes

(you can extend this cover to include liability to tenants where you let out your holiday home)
