Contractor's All Risks

Insurance of contract works and the materials used in the project, whether they be in transit, in storage or forming part of the contract works themselves, constitute a large portion of the overall exposure for building firms and contractors.

At Kidd Insurances we have facilities to arrange this cover which is complementary to Builders and Allied Trades Liability Insurance and Performance Bonds, and which effectively covers loss or damage to the structure in the course of erection, as opposed to the legal liability risks arising from injury or failure to meet the terms of the contract.

Your Kidd Insurances Contractor's All Risks Policy also extends to include damage to temporary structures such as site offices and stores, in addition to plant and machinery both your property and that hired in.

Cover can be extended to include late completion following an insured loss, as an "advance loss of profits" item, and where required, loss or damage to an existing structure which is being worked on, extended or refurbished.

We can arrange your Contractor's All Risks Cover on either a single contract or annual basis. We have facilities to place very substantial risks, and unusual exposures, including an extended period of maintenance/guarantee after completion.
