Additional Personal Accident Cover
Children by their nature are adventurous and this early outlook on life brings with it the normal bumps and bruises. A policy covering accidents has been arranged by Kidd Insurances in conjunction with the RSA. It is a straightforward and affordable policy which will bring you peace of mind in protecting the children you look after.
Just as you strive to provide the best environment for the children in your care, this insurance policy will provide the essential protection required.
While our main policies cover you for any accident in which or your staff are negligent and therefore legally liable, this extension policy pays benefits regardless of how the accident happened, and even whether the child was in your care or not.
- Medical Expenses including Dental,
- Hospitalisation Benefit Payable Weekly (Up to 26 weeks excluding week 1),
- Loss of two or more limbs or both eyes,
- Loss of one limb or eye,
- Permanent total disablement,
- Loss of hearing in one or both ears,
- Death.
Other Benefits:
Cover is for all accidents and operates 24 hours a day, ie: in your care or elsewhere.
There are no geographical limits (including when the child is on holidays).
The annual cost is only €7.50 per child which works out at 15 cents per week.
There is no policy excess.
